Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea don’t really get along, never mind do business with each other.
The battle for supremacy in London means Spurs and Chelsea have enjoyed a burgeoning rivalry in recent years, and deals between the two are far from common.
Only a handful of players have turned out for both clubs, and Antonio Rudiger missed out on the chance to join that list back in October.
Rudiger has told The Mirror that Jose Mourinho spoke to him about joining Spurs, having fallen out of favour under Frank Lampard.
No deal happened, which left Rudiger ‘upset’, but he has now turned his season around having become a key man under Lampard’s replacement Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea fans have been taking to Twitter to react to Rudiger’s comments, praising him for being ‘loyal’ by not joining rivals Spurs.

Others think he is now Chelsea’s second-best centre back behind Thiago Silva, feeling that he has been absolutely vital to the defensive form under Tuchel.
Some suggest that Rudiger is a Mourinho player and urged him to leave any time soon, backing him for more success at Stamford Bridge.
