And many Chelsea fans are now appealing for Chelsea to give Barkley back to Everton, with most suggesting the Toffees got the better of the deal.
Barkley has been missed by Everton this season, as he could have offered them power and creativity if he had stayed.
Barkley’s future at Chelsea is already in some doubt, ahead of the summer transfer window, but it seems most likely he will be given another season to prove himself at Stamford Bridge.
