For Chelsea fans it doesn’t get much worse than being beaten by rivals Arsenal, who they have enjoyed dominance over in recent years.

The Gunners won 3-0 at The Emirates, scoring all their goals in the first half.

Celebrity Chelsea supporter Kevin Pietersen, former England cricket star, was among those feeling the frustration.

He was fed up of gloating from Arsenal fans, and decided to try and put them in their place, taunting them that they would finish in fourth place ‘again’ this year.

Arsenal finished in second place last season, while Chelsea finished in 10th.

During the disastrous campaign they endured last time around, beating Arsenal twice was one of the few high points they had.

This galling loss was a reminder that they are still rebuilding under new manager Antonio Conte, and have plenty of work to do if they are to mount a title challenge.

Arsenal had a slow start to the campaign but have now won four straight Premier League matches.
