The Telegraph has reported that Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Conor Gallagher from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The report has claimed that Tottenham have “have held off making a bid” for Gallagher “until the last minute”.

Of course, Chelsea could be tempted to sell the 23-year-old if they received a big offer from Tottenham, but the England international midfielder should be cautious about a potential exit.
After all, Gallagher is playing regularly for the Chelsea first team now.
True, once the squad is settled and all the players are fully fit/up to match fitness, it would be tough for the 23-year-old to get into head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
But, Gallagher should have confidence in himself and in his ability to stay in the Chelsea starting lineup in the coming weeks and months.
The £50,000-a-week (Spotrac) youngster has made three appearances in the Premier League and one in the EFL Cup this season.
