Christian Pulisic has struggled to make an impact at Chelsea since joining so far.

Pulisic has struggled badly since moving to Chelsea, and has recently fallen down the pecking order.
There are some concerns beginning to emerge that Pulisic won’t be able to make the impact at Chelsea that many were hoping this season.
But Emerson says that Pulisic, who often plays just in front of him in Chelsea training, actually looks very good and he has noticed his ability to use both feet equally well.
“Pulisic is a quiet guy,” the £17 million defender (BBC Sport) said. “I think that is normal since he just got to the club and I believe that he is going to be more open with some time.
“He shows a lot of good technique—I see him play before and during training sessions and he has been showing that he is able to use both feet and he is very fast dribbling in short spaces.
“He is young but has a big responsibility. You see that, in the game, he always tries his best. Because he plays close to me, he has been trying to help me in defence, and I think that he has been showing a very good level.”

Pulisic has only featured in one of Chelsea’s last four games, and his confidence may have been knocked by his recent struggles.
Unfortunately for the American the latest international break didn’t go to plan for him either.
Pulisic was subbed off by the USA in their match against Canada, which they unexpectedly lost 2-0.
The winger’s performance in the contest was poor, and it seems likely that he will be a back-up option again for Chelsea at the weekend, rather than a starter.
The Blues are next in action against Newcastle United at the weekend, in a game which they are expected to take three points from.
