David Moyes’s West Ham United could reportedly be able to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher as a potential replacement for Declan Rice.
According to TMW, West Ham United want to sign Conor Gallagher from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
West Ham have made the 23-year-old midfielder their number one target to replace Declan Rice, who moved to Arsenal this month.
Chelsea are not actively looking to sell Gallagher, a player new head coach Mauricio Pochettino wants in his team for next season.
However, according to the report, Chelsea could sell Gallagher to London and Premier League rivals West Ham if they received an offer of €46 million (£40 million).

Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with Gallagher, who was described as “extraordinary and outstanding” by former Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel on the club’s official website in April 2022 while he was on loan at Crystal Palace.
West Ham United should bid for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher
In our opinion, if Chelsea could sell Conor Gallagher for £40 million in the summer transfer window, then West Ham United should make a bid.
They simply have to.
Gallagher is one of the best and most dynamic English midfielders around.
The 23-year-old did well during his loan spell at Crystal Palace in 2021-22 and has played seven times for England.
West Ham have received £100 million from the sale of Rice to Arsenal, so spending £40 million of that sum on a younger player for a similar role may not be a bad idea at all.
Gallagher is a versatile player who can operate in central midfield, in a more advanced position or out wide.
The 23-year-old has made 99 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Gallagher has scored 13 goals and given six assists in those games.
