West Ham United were heavily linked with a move for Danny Drinkwater in the January transfer window.

Drinkwater was signed by Chelsea for £35 million (Mail) in 2017, but he has failed to make much of an impression.
And Sarri’s latest comments suggest that Drinkwater needs to look for a new club in the summer.
“As he knows very well, he has never played because, in my opinion, he is not suitable to my system, to my way of playing. I told him everything in August,” he said.
“He appreciated it, but he decided to stay at Chelsea. Why has he stayed? I don’t know. Probably he hoped we could change the system, I think.

“I cannot do anything [for him]. A player usually wants only to play, so I cannot do anything.”
Whether West Ham will come back in for Drinkwater remains to be seen.
The Hammers are thought to be on the look out for central midfielders, and could have money to spend at the end of the season.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have, perhaps, performed slightly below expectations this season – and look likely to finish in the bottom half.
If Drinkwater was to arrive at West Ham he would be in competition with the likes of Mark Noble, Pedro Obiang and Declan Rice for a spot in Pellegrini’s side.
