Mason Mount has featured in every single one of Chelsea’s Premier League matches so far this season.

Mount was loaned out by Chelsea last term, with Lampard benefitting from having the midfielder at Derby County with him.
Lampard saw then just how much talent that the Chelsea academy graduate had, and after taking charge of the Blues, he was quick to put the youngster into the first-team.
Mount started in Chelsea’s first Premier League game of the season, and the 20-year-old has quickly repaid his manager’s faith.
Lampard admits that Mount’s performances have even taken him by surprise, as he has been so impressive this term.
There were some suggestions that Mount could leave Chelsea on loan again in the summer, but the Blues boss insists that he always wanted Mount to be at Stamford Bridge this term, and never had any intention of letting him go, even on a temporary basis.
“I’m really proud of him, obviously his loan spell in Holland and then loan spell with me in the championship I saw first hand the quality and also his character,” Lampard said.

“Maybe he has exceeded my expectations this season because I wanted him here for sure. I thought he’d get minutes and be good for us, I didn’t realise to quite what level he would settle and produce as he has produced
“I believe in him. He has to keep working to improve all the time.”
Mount has featured in every one of Chelsea’s Premier League matches this term, and he has scored on four occasions.
The England international may well feature again for Chelsea this evening, when Lampard’s side take on Ajax in the Champions League.
