Chelsea man Piazon spent the entire 2017-18 season on loan at Fulham.

Fulham earned a narrow 1-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday evening at Wembley thanks to Tom Cairney’s goal, which saw Slavisa Jokanovic go one better than last season when Fulham lost in the play-off semi-finals.
Piazon, 24, remained an unused substitute at Wembley with Jokanovic opting to start the likes of Ryan Sessegnon, Aboubakar Kamara and Aleksandar Mitrovic in attack.

However, Brazilian star Piazon has played an important part in Fulham’s campaign as they narrowly missed out on automatic promotion and he stated that talks over a potential move will be staged in due course.
“Not yet,” Piazon said, when asked if a return to the club was on the cards. “We spoke briefly after the game [play-off final]. Everyone was so excited and the chats were not properly serious.
“We have got time. Last year it was the same, we didn’t speak much at the end of the season and I ended up coming back. Let’s just see what happens.”

Piazon has spent the last two seasons on loan at Craven Cottage from west London neighbours Chelsea, scoring 12 goals and adding another nine assists in 58 league and cup appearances for the Championship side.
During Fulham’s promotion-winning campaign, he chipped in with six goals and five assists, despite starting only 16 of his 25 appearances.
The former Malaga, Vitesse, Frankfurt and Reading loanee has two years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea are likely to sell if Fulham do indeed make an offer for the attacker.
