Chelsea are leading the race for Arsenal talent Ethan Nwaneri as they look to pull off another raid on the Gunners.
That’s according to 90Min, who claim that Chelsea are now ‘pushing hardest’ to secure Nwaneri’s signature.
Manchester City and Manchester United are understood to be interested in signing Nwaneri.
However, Chelsea are allegedly ‘in pole position’ to sign Nwaneri and could pull off a raid that will frustrate Arsenal.
The Gunners have been in talks with Nwaneri over a senior contract with the club but there has been little progress.
That has given Chelsea real hope of a deal for Nwaneri thought there is rival interest from Borussia Dortmund and Ajax.

Ethan Nwaneri exit would be bitter pill for Arsenal to swallow
Nwaneri hit the headlines earlier this season as he came off the bench to make his Premier League debut against Brentford.
The midfielder became the youngest Premier League player in history at 15 years and 181 days old.
Nwaneri has been backed for a huge future at Arsenal, with many believing that he can emulate Bukayo Saka by becoming a first-team star.
Granit Xhaka has called Nwaneri ‘very, very special’ and predicted a ‘big, big future’ for the teenager.
Keeping hold of these talents is difficult though and Chelsea seem willing to throw money at young players.
Chelsea stunned Arsenal fans last summer by securing a deal for Gunners talent Omari Hutchinson and could repeat the trick with Nwaneri.
That would be horrible to watch from an Arsenal perspective, especially having lost top target Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea in January.
Todd Boehly’s spending is causing problems for Arsenal and Gunners fans will just have to hope that the club can eventually convince Nwaneri to stay put.
Arsenal haven’t given up hope of keeping Nwaneri yet, so the coming weeks and months will be vital ahead of the summer window.
