Both Chelsea and Leicester City could benefit greatly by swapping the two players.

Blues boss Antonio Conte has had to endure a challenging transfer window so far, losing some of his key players, and failing to secure deals for his top transfer targets.

According to the Daily Mail, the Italian is lining up a swoop for Foxes hitman Jamie Vardy, in a bid to add more energy to his front-line, but the east Midlands outfit are understandably reluctant to sell their main man.

Chelsea could tempt Leicester into sanctioning the 30-year-old’s exit by offering one of their players in exchange, however, and with Michy Batshuayi’s future at Stamford Bridge uncertain to say the least, he would surely be the ideal candidate.

The 23-year-old forward would be the ideal replacement for Vardy at the King Power Stadium, what with his blistering pace, and willingness to make runs in behind the opposition’s defence.

As useful as the Belgian striker would be for the Foxes, the England international would be equally as effective for the west London outfit, what with his aggressive playing style and clinical nature in front of goal.

The former non-league star would provide Conte with the option of playing two up front, should he so wish, and would be the perfect strike partner for Alvaro Morata.

And with just one week remaining until the transfer window slams shut, a swap deal involving Vardy and Batshuayi is certainly something that both Chelsea and Leicester should consider, if they do in fact want to refresh their forward options.
