Chelsea have made seven signings already this summer but one was leaked before the club had the chance to announce it.
Having already spent over £1billion since their takeover in 2022, Chelsea are showing no signs of slowing down in the transfer market.
With Enzo Maresca now at the helm, Chelsea have once again reached into their pockets to back him with seven new signings.
The latest to sign with the Blues is goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen after Maresca requested a new goalkeeper.
Chelsea announced the £21million signing of Jorgensen on Wednesday, but the club’s announcements haven’t always gone to plan this summer.
The £30million deal for Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was leaked on social media by Chelsea ace Wesley Fofana, who posted a fox emoji and the number 22 to his Instagram 24 hours before.

Wesley Fofana on leaked transfer deal
Fofana’s Instagram post sent Chelsea fans into raptures as they could finally celebrate the midfielder’s arrival, but it turns out it didn’t go down as well with the club.
In an interview with football.london, Fofana opened up on his role in the transfer and how the club reacted to the leak.
“I am an agent, a secret agent,” Fofana joked. “I talked with him before and I am happy because I played with him in Leicester, he’s my friend. We don’t just play together. I talked with him and told him – ‘If you refuse Chelsea, you’re crazy man’. He signed and I’m happy.”
When asked if he was told off for leaking the story, he replied “Yeah! When I post before the club post… I felt bad. When I knew the deal was complete I was very happy.”
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall at Chelsea next season
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made his first appearance in a Chelsea shirt on Thursday morning as the Blues won 3-0 against Club America.

Having worked so closely with Maresca last season at Leicester, he is expected to be given a key role under the Italian next season.
Plus, Conor Gallagher has agreed a £40million move to Atletico Madrid and his exit this summer means Dewsbury-Hall faces less competition for a starting spot in midfield.
