Kouyate spent four years at West Ham after first joining in 2014, but has now joined Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace have completed a move for West Ham United midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate for a fee believed to be in the region of £9.5million – and the Hammers favourite sent a message to West Ham fans on Instagram.
Kouyate, 28, has signed a four-year deal with Palace as Roy Hodgson looks to step up his recruitment drive, with Swansea City forward Jordan Ayew and free agent Max Meyer expected to complete moves to Selhurst Park soon.
The Senegal captain has seemingly decided to leave the London Stadium after the Hammers brought in more midfield competition in the form of Jack Wilshere, leaving Kouyate slightly further down the pecking order.
The former Anderlecht star posted on Instagram a heartfelt message to Hammers supporters, where he thanked his teammates, the fans and the staff and said that West Ham will always remain in his heart.
Over the four years spent at West Ham, Kouyate made 147 appearances in claret and blue in all competitions, scoring 15 goals in the process – with perhaps his best coming against Manchester United in the club’s 1-1 draw in February 2015.
He will now look to help Palace avoid a Premier League relegation dogfight, and will face his former club on December 8 at the London Stadium before the return fixture between the two clubs takes place on February 9.
