Reported Liverpool targets Aster Vranckx and Jeremy Doku may see their transfer value dip substantially in an uncertain market, agent Cheikh Fall has told Voetbal Nieuws.
With Jurgen Klopp’s Reds officially crowned as the greatest club in world football right now, do not expect to see many big-money signings at Anfield this summer.
Liverpool instead may look to add a couple of glittering prospects to a star-studded squad, a year after they snapped up talented teenagers Harvey Elliott and Sepp Van der Berg from Fulham and PEC Zwolle respectively.
Het Nieuwsblad claims that Liverpool have their hearts set on another fresh-faced prospect – Anderlecht’s £17 million-rated speed-machine Jeremy Doku.
Doku is not the only Belgium-based starlet on the Premier League leaders’ radar, however. The Mirror claims that Liverpool are rivalling Manchester City and Bayern Munich for the £1.5 million-rated signature of Mechelen central midfielder Vranckx.

And with clubs in one of Europe’s lesser leagues likely to be hit hard in the pocket, Doku and Vranckx could join an English giant on the cheap.
“You have talents like Aster Vranckx and Jérémy Doku, who are already a fixed value at their clubs. They will be cheaper due to the current situation in football,” Fall says.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Liverpool have tried to bring Doku to Anfield.
The winger’s father admitted to Nieuwsblad recently that his sought-after son had turned down a move to Liverpool two years ago, despite Klopp’s belief that he could be the ‘new Sadio Mane’.
