West Ham United fans have been having their say on reports of a January move for Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

West Ham have picked up of late under new boss David Moyes taking four points from games against Chelsea and Arsenal while Newcastle continue to struggle losing to Everton on Wednesday night.

Moyes has already stated he will be in the market for players in January to give the Hammers every chance of staying in the Premier League.

Co-owner David Sullivan has also insisted he will back the Scotsman with two or three signings next month.

And according to The Daily Mail, Magpies outcast Alexsandar Mitrovic could be on his way to East London.

Mitrovic, 23, is out of favour under Rafa Benitez side and has racked up just 89 minutes of Premier League action from the substitute bench.

Joselu, Dwight Gayle and Ayoze Perez are all ahead of the Serb in the pecking order.

But according to the Mail, Moyes is ready to take a gamble on the towering forward and believes he can land him on cheap.

That hasn’t gone down well with Hammers fans, though, who have taken to Twitter to voice their unanimous disapproval.
