Conor Coady has shared that he ‘chats about Everton‘ with Manchester City defender John Stones whilst on England duty at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, as he told the Lion’s Den.
Whilst Coady, who is on-loan from Wolves, is patrolling Everton’s backline now alongside James Tarkowski, once upon a time, it was Stones.
The 28-year-old played at Goodison Park for a three-year period before making a big-money move to Manchester City.

From the off, during his days on Merseyside, he would be determined to pass the ball out from the back, even if it would make the natives restless.
Well, whilst it has been some years that Stones has put on those Everton colours, it seems as though he still hasn’t forgotten them days, as Coady labelled him as the funniest guy in the England camp.
“Stonesy is top-level,” said Coady. “You sit in his company and he speaks about certain things. I have chats with him about Everton and different things. ‘
“But he is just a real, real funny guy. I go with John Stones (as the funniest guy in the England camp).”

STONES GOING STRONG
It was a big statement from Pep Guardiola when he brought Stones to Manchester, but fast forward to the present and it has been a brilliant call.
A modern-day centre-back, Stones has won four Premier League titles at the Etihad and is now searching for that all-important Champions League medal.
But, in the meantime, he’s trying to go all the way and help England secure the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
