Yunus Musah has reacted with delight on Instagram to Harvey Elliott extending his stay at Liverpool after he signed a new deal.
On Thursday, Liverpool announced that Elliott has signed a new long-term contract at the club, as he joins Mo Salah and manager, Jurgen Klopp, in penning down his future on Merseyside.
The 19-year-old might be rewarded with signing a new contract by starting Liverpool’s Monday night game against Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Thiago Alcantara is injured, so it opens up the door for someone to come in and Elliott might just be the prime candidate for the Premier League title contenders.
Nonetheless, former Arsenal youth product, Musah, who is now in Valencia colours, wrote in the comments section of Elliott’s post: ‘Chasing out. Well done bro’ added with laughing and heart emojis.
A number of Elliott’s teammates also responded to the news, with Curtis Jones writing ‘love it’, whilst Jay Spearing said it’s ‘fully deserved’.
THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR LIVERPOOL
From Elliott to summer capture, Fabio Carvalho, one thing is for sure, the future is bright at Anfield and Liverpool have some serious talent coming through.
With the likes of Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Mo Salah to learn from, a manager like Jurgen Klopp, a strong dressing room and a winning culture.
Then there is so much to learn and it only increases the club’s chances of ensuring their star players continue to take steps forward in their careers.
Elliott has shown on a number of occasions what he is capable of and he might just find that he is a regular starter for the Reds during these coming weeks.
