Celtic are reportedly willing to buy Charly Musonda outright if they have to.

According to The Daily Mail’s Transfer blog (15/01/2018, 10:37), Celtic are interested in signing Chelsea man Charley Musonda and could potentially buy him outright.
The academy product’s path to first-team prominence under Antonio Conte is looking increasingly bleak and Celtic are among those interested in offering him an escape route.
But the 21-year-old, who has made only two sPremier League appearances for the Blues, has a lot of different talents and he would be an excellent signing for Celtic this month.

Musonda, valued at £4.5 million according to Transfermarkt, is capable of playing on either wing and in a number 10 role, and such versatility must surely appeal to Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers only has two fit wingers – Scott Sinclair and James Forrest – at his disposal at the moment, with Jonny Hayes ruled out for the season and Patrick Roberts on the comeback trail following a hamstring injury.

And someone like Musonda ticks a lot of boxes for the Northern Irish boss, who also has the option of playing him in an advanced midfield role.
The young attacker clearly has a lot of strings to his bow, given that he is a threat from several different areas, and that dynamism is precisely what the Hoops need.
