The former Sheffield Wednesday CEO was previously at Charlton Athletic.

Charlton Athletic fans are reacting after Katrien Meire left her position as chief executive officer of Sheffield Wednesday.
Wednesday confirmed Meire’s surprise exit on Monday, little more than a year after the Belgian arrived at Hillsborough following a spell at Charlton.
It remains to be seen whether she walked, was pushed, or left by mutual consent, although Meire later thanked the Owls for a ‘fantastic time’.
Although one thing is certain – that she leaves behind more friends in Sheffield than she ever had in south-east London, where the by-trade lawyer is fondly remembered by few.

And several of a Charlton persuasion have expressed concern that Meire could be on her way back [although, given her recent comments regarding her relationship with the Addicks faithful (The Telegraph), it seems unlikely].
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Sheffield Wednesday recently appointed Steve Bruce as manager, and it is thought the experienced boss will be given far more control of the club than any of his recent predecessors.
Although, whether Meire’s exit is linked to Bruce’s arrival, once again, remains to be seen.
Is the former Sheffield Wednesday CEO really as bad as Charlton fans make her out to be?
