Charlie Taylor is on the verge of a comeback for Leeds United, after almost two months out of action with injury, The Star report.
The left-back has been missed from an attacking perspective even though Gaetano Berardi has defended well in his absence.
Taylor is more of a threat from wide areas, with Opta data stating Taylor provides 0.73 accurate crosses per match in comparison to Berardi’s 0.14.
This has led to his two assists this season in comparison to none so far from Berardi.
Berardi has had six shots at goal this season, but failed to hit the target with any of them.
His committed displays have rightly seen him become a fan favourite, showing on more than one occasion he is willing to spill blood for the Leeds United cause.

23-year-old Taylor though provides more for opposition defences to think about, and enhances striker Chris Wood’s goalscoring potential.
Leeds are in a period of mixed form, managing one win from their last four Championship games.
Getting Taylor back will be a considerable boost and give the team a lift, potentially at the right time with rivals Sheffield Wednesday next up, who have drawn level on points with the Whites.
