Leeds United’s Charlie Taylor
Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor has told The Yorkshire Evening Post that head coach Garry Monk has told him that he has faith in him.
Taylor, who can play as a left-back or as a left-winger, has been linked with a move away from Leeds in the summer transfer window.
The Championship club announced on their official website earlier this month that they had rejected a transfer request from the youngster.

The Express & Star recently reported of Premier League club West Bromwich Albion’s interest in the 22-year-old.
Taylor has revealed that head coach Monk has told him that he has trust in him.
“Once the transfer window’s closed, I’ll either not be at Leeds or definitely will be at Leeds,” Taylor told The Yorkshire Evening Post.
“Then I can get my head around the fact either way and concentrate on the football. It’s hard at the minute with what’s going on.
“The gaffer has been brilliant. He’s said he understands and said that he’s got 100 per cent faith in me whenever he picks me. Whatever happens, I’ll do the best I can.”

Despite speculation over his future, Taylor has maintained his place in the Leeds team.
The youngster has featured in all four of the West Yorkshire outfit’s Championship matches so far this season.
Taylor is one of the best young players in the Championship and one of the best left-backs in the division.
One should not be surprised if the former England Under-19 international does well in the Premier League should he find himself playing in the division next month.
