Charlie Taylor has played well for Leeds United this season.
Charlie Taylor has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at winning the 2015-16 Leeds United Player of the Year award.
Taylor, who can play as a left-back or as a left-winger, has been in brilliant form this campaign, and is happy to have been recognised for his effort.
Taylor has scored one goal and created 44 chances in 38 Championship appearances for Leeds this season.
The 22-year-old has a pass accuracy of 74% and a shot accuracy of 36%, and has won 61 headers, 40 dribbles and 59 tackles.
The former England Under-19 international is one of the best and most promising young players in the Championship.
In recent years, Leeds have sold some of their best players, and one suspects that it could be the case this summer as well.
After all, it was only in January that Premier League outfit West Ham United snapped up right-back Sam Byram from the West Yorkshire outfit.
Leeds fans have sent messages to Taylor on Twitter asking him not to leave Elland Road at the end of the season, as well as congratulating him on winning the prestigious award.
