The Turf Moor pair have had differing fortunes since switching Leeds United for Burnley.
Chris Wood of Burnley is challenged by Steve Cook of AFC Bournemouth
In the summer Leeds United were left disappointed when two of their star players departed Elland Road for pastures new.
Charlie Taylor ran down his contract at the lub, as expected, before securing a move to Burnley. This move did not come as a surprise but Leeds fans wee then left despairing as their star striker followed him. Chris Wood left Leeds for Turf Moor in a big-money move.
The New Zealand international had scored 30 goals for Leeds last season, so his loss was a great heartache for the Elland Road faithful.

He has gone on to impress at Burnley, with four goals so far this season, which have helped the Clarets into a nose-bleed inducing high of sixth place in the Premier League table.
One man not shocked to see Wood performing well is the former Leeds left-back Taylor. Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph this week the defender stated:
“No. I genuinely did expect him to come in and hit the ground running, like he has done.
“If he gets the service he’ll put it in the back of the net. He was the best striker in the Championship last season and he’s continued that form this season.”
Chris Wood of Burnley celebrates after scoring
Whilst Wood is enjoying his time with his new club, Taylor is finding things more difficult. The left-back has played just 139 minutes of Premier League football for his new club, as he continues to play second fiddle to Republic of Ireland international Stephen Ward.
Leeds fans, who were not happy with the way he left the club, will not be losing any sleep over his lack of game time. However, they would surely love to have Wood spearheading their latest push for a top-flight return.
