Leeds United defender did not address his future…

Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor has said he is enjoying his football and there is a positive atmosphere around the club.

Speaking to TV Yorkshire yesterday, Taylor also described his relationship with head coach Garry Monk as positive.

Taylor is expecting to feature in the next two games to round off the year, against Preston North End and Aston Villa.

He said: “It’s been really good, we didn’t get off to the best of starts but since we have then really kicked on. The past couple of months been very good.

“It’s been good [under Monk], different to previous managers, I’ve been playing, I’ve got a good relationship with him, its been a good season so far.”

Taylor did not address his future, which remains a topic of discussion among fans and in the media.

He has just six months remaining on his contract, and handed in a transfer request back in the summer which was denied by the club.

The left-back appears to be content with life at Leeds at present, and the form of the team has to bode well if the team.

He also praised teammate Souleymane Doukara, who he has linked up with on the left hand side in recent weeks when Stuart Dallas has not featured.

Taylor said: “I don’t mind who I play with, but Souley works hard and he helps me out defensively.”
