Brendan Rodgers will return to his old stomping ground on Saturday as his high-flying Leicester City side aim to end Liverpool’s 100% start to the new season.

Charlie Nicholas thinks Brendan Rodgers will target Liverpool duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson on Saturday when his Leicester City make the trip to Anfield.
The Sky Sports pundit also claimed that Liverpool will ‘finally falter’ against the high-flying Foxes as he believes they will drop points for the first time this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have won every Premier League game this season, but they face one of their toughest and more trickier tests, with Leicester currently sitting third in the table.
Ahead of that game, former Arsenal striker Nicholas thinks that Rodgers will ‘try to block’ Liverpool’s fullbacks for ‘tactical’ reasons because he knows how dangerous their front three can be.
“Liverpool’s defence isn’t as good as last season and we knew that,” Nicholas told Sky Sports. “But they are five points clear. Brendan Rodgers knows how dangerous their front three will be, he will try to block the full-backs too and that isn’t being defensive, it is being tactical.
“If Salzburg can score three times at Anfield then I’m sure Leicester could grab a goal. Liverpool have played well in some and stumbled in other, so this might be the one where they finally falter.”

On Wednesday night, Liverpool survived a scare as Mo Salah had to resue them late in the second half after they let their three-goal lead slip.
The Reds would have thought they had the game wrapped up when they put three past Salzburg without any reply, but their Champions League opponents came back fighting after the break, only to be thwarted by Salah.
The Egyptian will be key once again on Saturday, as Klopp’s side have the chance to potentially open up an eight-point lead at the top of the table after only eight league games.
