Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur lost to Chelsea in the EFL Cup on Thursday.

Tottenham lost 2-1 to Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final tie on Thursday evening.
With the tie finishing 2-2 on aggregate, it went into a penalty shootout, which the Blues won 4-2.
Rose is one of the left-backs in Europe, but the 28-year-old England international defender did not start the game.
The 28-year-old former Leeds United prospect came as a substitute for Ben Davies in the 33rd minute.
Former Arsenal forward Nicholas believes that Spurs manager Pochettino should have included Rose in the starting lineup.

Nicholas said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports Premier League on Saturday afternoon (12:52pm, January 26, 2018): “Very surprised. You know, the fact that he has to wait until an injury takes place.”
“You know one thing that he has got,” added Nicholas. “He is going to bomb forward every time he gets an opportunity.”
Stats
Rose has made 10 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far this season, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
