Sky Sports pundit pinning hopes on Celtic star Stuart Armstrong.

Ahead of Scotland’s qualifier clash with England for the World Cup, Charlie Nicholas has said that this is a must-win game for the hosts.
The Sky Sports pundit said that Scotland do not have players in significant positions who can wreck damage to England’s hopes.
And that is why he is pinning hopes on Celtic star Stuart Armstrong.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a superb 2016/17 campaign for Celtic, scoring 17 goals in 47 games in all competitions.

Armstrong has a contract with Celtic till 2018, and he is yet to pen a new deal.
Nicholas said that a lot of significant English teams will be interested in him especially if he performs on Saturday.
“The Celtic players are obviously on a high after what they achieved and the one I’m pinning my hopes on is Armstrong,” said Nicholas to Sky Sports.
“He’s not signed a new contract and I imagine teams of significance in England will be interested, especially if he performs on Saturday.”

Armstrong has been linked with a move away from Celtic this summer, with Brighton and West Brom been credited with strong interest.
Last month, The Express, claimed that West Brom have sent scouts to watch Armstrong last season, and are confident of signing him ahead of Everton and Brighton.
The Baggies are reportedly willing to pay a fee in the region of £8million and wages in excess of £30,000-a-week for the former Dundee United star.
