Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur will face Slaven Bilic’s West Ham United in the EFL Cup this week.
Tottenham will take on London rivals West Ham at the Wembley Stadium in the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday evening.
Nicholas believes that Spurs will win the tie, and has predicted England international midfielder Dele Alli to score.
“This could be feisty one – but I only see one outcome,” Nicholas wrote on Skysports.com. “Mauricio Pochettino impressively exposed Liverpool’s vulnerabilities on Sunday and their confidence must be sky high.
A footnote added: “Charlie predicts: 3-0 and Dele Alli to score first.”
Tottenham are in great form at the moment and will head into the tie against West Ham as favourites.
However, manager Mauricio Pochettino could make changes to his starting lineup and could play a number of fringe players.
Spurs are aiming to win the Premier League title and progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The EFL Cup is probably not high on the list of priorities of Spurs, which could give West Ham some hope.
The Hammers lost in the Premier League last Friday, and Slaven Bilic’s side will be determined to return to winning ways.
