Jurgen Klopp and his Reds head to Old Trafford as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s struggling Red Devils await the Anfield titans.

Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has given his verdict on the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford, predicting what the Anfield side could expect from the hosts, as well as naming the Red Devils player he feels will “offer something” against the visitors.
Arguably the biggest English football fixture takes place on Sunday afternoon as the Premier League leaders and Champions League holders head to Manchester to face the Red Devils, who are not having the best of times, to put it mildly.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s charges have just one win from their past five Premier League games, having lost 1-0 to Newcastle just before the international break, and currently sit a lowly 12th in the Premier League table.
In contrast, Liverpool boast a 100 percent record from their league fixtures so far, an impressive eight wins from eight with 20 goals scored and just six shipped, very much having picked up from where they left off last season, when they fought one of the most titanic title races of all time against Manchester City.

Nicholas believes that the Red Devils will employ conservative tactics – “a ‘parking the bus’ kind of game” in his words – as they cannot afford to take risks, lest their rivals could well embarrass them, but also thinks striker Marcus Rashford could possibly do well against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
“(Liverpool) have battered (United) on a few occasions and Man Utd still won the title,” Nicholas wrote on Sky Sports News. “But this is do or die for Utd and a day of credibility for them to try and get a point, which I think they will do. They will scrap and sit in, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows that – they will not play expansively here.
“Man Utd will not want to get beat and walk away. This is a ‘parking the bus’ kind of game, in which they cannot take a risk. If they get beat and Liverpool embarrass them, then it could spell even more danger for Solskjaer. I feel Marcus Rashford will offer something here.”
