Tottenham Hotspur will welcome Juventus to Wembley Stadium for their Champions League clash tomorrow night.

Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas explained why he expects Tottenham to come through their Champions League tie with Juventus tomorrow night, when writing his column for Sky Sports, although he did highlight the potential tactical dilemma that Mauricio Pochettino faces.

Spurs showcased their new-found maturity in big games when they drew 2-2 in Turin three weeks ago, after going 2-0 down early on, and they are now considered to be the bookies’ favourites to advance through to the quarter-finals of the competition.

Pochettino’s side have really impressed this season on the whole, and have not lost a game since their 4-1 defeat to Manchester City on December 16th, although Juve are on an equally impressive run, having not lost since November 19th in all competitions.

Nicholas, though, explained why he believes Tottenham will see out the job tomorrow night at Wembley, when writing his column for Sky Sports:

The Soccer Saturday panel of (l to r) Jeff Stelling, Matt Le Tissier, Paul Merson, Phil Thompson and Charlie Nicholas during Gillette Soccer Saturday Live with Jeff Stelling on March 19,...

“You’d understand Mauricio Pochettino contemplating playing two holding midfielders to protect their advantage, but I think he’ll want to do it with a bit of style, thinking he doesn’t need to change the way his team play. I do expect Spurs to finish the job after being so impressive in Turin but I do expect there to be that edge to the tie where they have to come through another testing spell.”

Pochettino will surely start Mousa Dembele tomorrow night, taking the Belgian’s outstanding current form into account.

The real question is who the Argentine will play alongside him. Does he go with Eric Dier? Or opt for Victor Wanyama in the hope that the Kenyan will bring more physicality to the middle of the park?

Whichever team Pochettino puts out, fans will be expecting a highly enthralling contest, in a tie that is so finely poised, with a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League up for grabs.
