Marco Silva’s Everton suffered a damaging defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers over the weekend.
Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has claimed that Everton’s attacking duo Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun ‘don’t offer anything’ to the team.
The former Arsenal striker also feels that key man Gylfi Sigurdsson ‘is not contributing’ when he doesn’t have the ball at his feet.

Nicholas issued some harsh words on Everton’s attacking play and simply stated that it is not working for them in the final third.
“Not enough [attempts] on target when you are going after a team that you are favourites to beat at home,” Nicholas told Soccer Saturday on 02/02/2019.
“Walcott’s hardly in the game, he was unlucky on one occasion. Tosun up front. They don’t offer anything. There is no link up play and because of that, you don’t get rhythm or fluency.
“Sigurdsson’s trying to get on the ball, but when he doesn’t have the ball he is not contributing.”
Over the course of the season, Walcott has played 23 Premier League matches for his side, scoring three goals and supplying two assists, according to transfermarkt.
The former Arsenal man, who moved to Goodison Park from the Emirates Stadium in January 2018, has found the back of the net on one occasion since September.
On the other hand, striker Tosun has been used in a sporadic fashion by his manager, with the 27-year-old only scoring two leagues goals this term, according to transfermarkt.
Silva will be hoping his team can get back to winning ways when they host Premier League champions Manchester City on Wednesday.
