Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have faced Motherwell in their past two competitive matches.

Celtic took on Motherwell at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the final of the Scottish League Cup last weekend.
Cedric Kipre was controversially sent off for a challenge on Scott Sinclair in the 58th minute, and Moussa Dembele subsequently scored to make it 2-0 to Brendan Rodgers’s side.

The Hoops took on Motherwell again on Wednesday evening, this time at Fir Park in the Scottish Premiership.
The Glasgow giants were awarded a late penalty when Callum McGregor went down after an Andy Rose challenge, and Sinclair found the net from the spot to make it 1-1.
Former Celtic forward Nicholas, who had two separate spells at Celtic Park, has criticised the Hoops for the way they have conducted themselves regarding the controversial decisions.

Nicholas wrote in The Express: “What got to me was Sinclair’s manager and team-mates all leaping to his defence and saying it was a penalty.
“They all stated there was contact. Yes, there was minimal contact from Cedric Kipre, but there was nowhere enough to send Sinclair to the deck.
“I just wish there had been a bit of honesty from those in the Celtic ranks to admit they got lucky with the decision, just as they were when they won another penalty in round two with Motherwell on Wednesday night when Callum McGregor went down and Sinclair slotted it home to keep their unbeaten run going.
“Would it have been so hard for those in green and white to say they got away with one there?”
Celtic will face Motherwell at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon and will be determined to return to winning ways.
