Timothy Weah joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic in the January transfer window.

Weah joined Celtic on loan from PSG in the January transfer window and has made an immediate impact at the Hoops.
The 18-year-old USA international has made two starts and three substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for the Bhoys so far this season, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Former Celtic and Arsenal forward Nicholas has been impressed with the teenager and has spoken highly of him.
The Sky Sports pundit has compared Weah to Anelka – who won the Champions League with Real Madrid in 2000 and the European Championship with France in 2000 – when the former PSG and Manchester City forward joined Arsenal back in 1997.
Nicholas, though, has said that he would like Weah to improve on his link-up play.

“He reminds me of when Nicholas Anelka first came into the Arsenal side – the speed and desire to get in with the markers, he reminds me a bit of that,” Nicholas told Sky Sports.
“Anelka was a better player but the confidence he will get from Celtic having so much of the ball as well as the support.
“The Celtic fans make some noise for the ones who make an effort and do their bit for the club, so he will thrive from that.
“It is looking well but I want to see him develop, I want to see his link-up play a bit better and if he can do that then you can question why he is not getting started.”
Promising talent
Weah can only improve in the coming weeks and months, and although the striker is not guaranteed a place in the Celtic starting lineup at the moment, he can establish himself in Brendan Rodgers’s team if he bangs in the goals regularly.
