Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly spend big in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur did not sign any players in the summer of 2018, and the North London outfit did not make any new additions to their squad in the January transfer window.
Despite their lack of spending, Tottenham have done well this season – better than the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United in fact.
Spurs have pretty much secured their place in the top four of the Premier League and could also progress to the final of the Champions League this season.
Tottenham, though, could make signings in the summer transfer window, according to speculation in the media.
The Sun has reported that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino will be given a lot of money by club chairman Daniel Levy to spend in the summer transfer window, with reports suggesting that he would be given £100 million to spend.
Former Arsenal forward Charlie Nicholas has suggested that a transfer kitty of £100m might not do much for Tottenham.

Nicholas said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News on Saturday afternoon (12:18pm, May 4, 2019): “You can go for full-backs these days, one of them is £50m. It might get you two top players.”
Nicholas added: “Now the issue will be, can they keep Eriksen? Will Kane want to stay? Will Dele want to stay? Alderweireld sounds as if he is probably going to be leaving.
“If he is saying that he will get £100m, but three top players could be moving out, that doesn’t get you a very good return.”
Meanwhile, Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier believes that Tottenham will not win the Premier League title until they stop the number of defeats they are suffering.
Le Tissier said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News on Saturday afternoon (12:15pm, May 4, 2019): “I don’t think they are ever going to win the league, I don’t think they are ever going to win the league, not at the moment.”
