Liverpool are currently just two points behind league leaders Manchester City in the Premier League standings.

Charlie Nicholas has told Sky Sports that Liverpool are not good enough to win the Premier League title.
Liverpool have made an impressive start to the season, which has led to many pundits claiming that they believe Jurgen Klopp’s side have the ability to compete for first place this season.

However, Nicholas feels that Liverpool do not have enough quality in their squad to challenge the likes of Manchester City or Arsenal.
“We all enjoyed Jurgen Klopp on Monday Night Football, but his team is prone to mood swings defensively,” Nicholas said. “For me, they are not strong enough to win the title, but I’m tipping them to make the top four with no European football.”
Nicholas believes Liverpool will finish in third place this season, behind City and Arsenal.
The Reds are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table – two points behind league leaders Manchester City, and behind Arsenal on goal difference.

Liverpool are the joint top-scorers in England’s top flight this season, having netted 18 goals in their first seven matches, and their attacking play has earned them a number of plaudits.
Liverpool return to action in two weeks’ time, after the international break, when they face a match against Manchester United at Anfield.
