West Ham United are not believed to be actively looking for new additions.

Charlie Nicholas has told Sky Sports that West Ham United still need another centre-back this summer.

West Ham have brought in four new players, with their business in the transfer window catching the eye.

Javier Hernandez, Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta and Marko Arnautovic have all moved to the London Stadium and should improve the quality of Slaven Bilic’s options.

However, Nicholas feels that West Ham still need to strengthen at the back, if they are to fulfil their aims.

“I do think they need somebody else at the back, they can’t keep relying on James Collins to come in,” Nicholas said.

West Ham are not actively thought to be looking for any more additions this summer.

Slaven Bilic recently told the club’s official website that West Ham’s summer spending was done, unless something remarkable happened.

West Ham’s competitive campaign gets under way next weekend, and they have been thrown in at the deep end.

Bilic’s side will travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on the first day of the new campaign.
