Charlie Nicholas has predicted to Sky Sports that Celtic star Leigh Griffiths will score the winner for Scotland against Lithuania.
Gordon Strachan’s side take on Lithuania on Saturday evening as they look to continue their winning start to World Cup qualifying.
They currently sit top of Group F on goal difference ahead of England after their 5-1 win over Malta in the opening round of fixtures.

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is unlikely to start the game given he is currently short of full fitness but Nicholas is expecting him to be the main man coming off the bench.
“Leigh Grffiths isn’t match-fit so I’d probably start with Oliver Burke, who is attracting a lot of interest up here, supporting Chris Martin, then I can see Griffiths coming off the bench and bagging the winner,” he told Sky Sports.

The former Arsenal man also believes that the game is a must win for his country.
Gordon Strachan’s team were the only home nation to miss out on Euro 2016 and had to sit at home as the likes of Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and especially Wales all enjoyed themselves in France.
It makes them even determined to make it to this World Cup, which would be their first tournament since 1998.
They are in a tough group alongside England and Slovakia, though, and Nicholas says this game must be won ahead of the trip to the latter in midweek.
“This for me is a must-win,” he added.
“A few of my colleagues aren’t so sure but you must win your home games to gather momentum, especially ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Slovakia.”
