Charlie Horton, who left Leeds United in November, has signed for DC United.
Former Leeds United goalkeeper Charlie Horton has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at signing for DC United.
The USA Under-23 international goalkeeper has joined the Major League Soccer outfit, as announced on their official website.
The 21-year-old was without a club since November of last year when he left Leeds for family reasons (click here to read more).
Horton had joined the Championship side on a two-year contract in the summer of 2015.
The youngster, who is highly rated, has expressed his delight at signing for Ben Olsen’s side, and he has also wished Leeds fans the best of luck for the rest of the season and beyond.
Leeds are 18th in the Championship table at the moment with 38 points from 33 matches.
The Whites are currently nine points above the relegation zone and have a game in hand.
The West Yorkshire outfit will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Bolton Wanderers at Elland Road in the Championship.
