A goal for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara was in the script tonight.

The 23-year-old opened the scoring as Rangers thumped Dundee 4-0 at Ibrox.

It was Kamara’s first goal for the Gers since joining them from the Dee in January.

The Finland international, a product of Arsenal’s academy, has been hugely impressive since sealing a £50,000 switch to Glasgow [Evening Telegraph].

Here’s how his former Gunners team-mate Charlie Gilmour, a lifelong fan of the Glasgow giants, reacted on Twitter.

James Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos also found the net in a ruthless first-half showing from Steven Gerrard’s side, who added a fourth through Jermain Defoe late on.

For that sort of money, Kamara already has the whiff of a stupidly-good bargain and it’ll be fascinating to see how the midfielder develops under Gerrard, who could play a bit in his day.
