Leeds United have secured the futures of a number of their highly-rated youngsters.

Leeds United duo Charlie Cresswell and Pascal Struijk expressed their delight on social media after they secured their futures with the Championship club.
On Tuesday, Leeds announced that a number of their highly-rated youngsters, including Cresswell and Struijk, had put pen-to-paper on a new contract, as reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post.
For Struijk, who was part of Carlos Corberan’s title-winning side last season, he is simply being rewarded for those efforts, whilst Cresswell has earned his first professional contract at Elland Road.
Nonetheless, this is how the two players reacted to the news as they posted these messages on their social media accounts, with Kalvin Phillips also responding to Struijk’s message.

It isn’t a surprise to see that Leeds are being so vocal in trying to secure the future of a number of their big talents because it is the way the club has operated over the years and they have a manager who gives these youngsters the chance to shine.
Whilst he hasn’t been involved this season, the rise of Jack Clarke during the previous campaign is proof that Marcelo Bielsa will give anyone a chance, as long as you are good enough.
Now that new deals have been signed, those players will be hoping they are the next big star coming off that Elland Road conveyor belt, as they could potentially be were Kalvin Phillips is today.
