Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa lost to Sheffield United in the Championship on Saturday.
Charlie Bannister has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Aston Villa’s defeat to Sheffield United.
Villa suffered a 4-1 defeat to United away from home at Bramall Lane in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The Villans had also lost in midweek, going down 1-0 to Burton Albion away from home in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
Steve Bruce’s side played out a 1-1 draw with Reading at Villa Park in the Championship last weekend, which followed a 2-2 draw with Brentford at home in the league.
Former Villa prospect Bannister, who left the club back in the summer of 2016, has urged the fans of the Villa Park outfit not to panic and to get behind Bruce and the players.
Villa’s recent results and performances have not been great, and it is clear that the Villans have to step up their game.
Perhaps after the two-week international break, Bruce’s side will be able to put together a run of positive results.
