Queens Park Rangers suffered a 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest at Loftus Road in the Championship on Saturday.
Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Nottingham Forest at home.
Rangers suffered a 2-1 loss to Forest at Loftus Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
After a goalless first half, the London outfit took the lead in the 65th minute when Charlie Austin found the target from 20 yards.
Forest staged a strong comeback thereafter and equalised 10 minutes later through Henri Lansbury.
Goalkeeper Robert Green had been sent off for bringing down debutant Chris O’Grady inside the QPR penalty box, and midfielder Lansbury made no mistake from the penalty spot.
Nelson Oliveira wrapped up the points for Forest eight minutes from time with a cool finish from close range.
Following the defeat, Austin took to Twitter to express his disappointment at the final result.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Loftus Road, QPR had 48% of the possession, took nine shots of which two were on target, and earned four corners.
