Charlie Adam has commented on Celtic’s goalscoring sensation Moussa Dembele.
Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam has told BBC Radio Five Live’s Football Daily that selling Moussa Dembele for £20m would be ‘great business’ from Celtic.
Dembele, 20, hit 17 goals for Championship side Fulham in all competitions last season, becoming one of the Football League’s hottest young talents before his contract expired over the summer.

It was Celtic who swooped to land Dembele ahead of a host of clubs, handing him a four-year contract as he became Brendan Rodgers’ first signing as Bhoys manager.
The French attacker was brought in to compete with Scotland international Leigh Griffiths at Celtic Park after his 40-goal season last term, and he’s exceeded expectations in his first season at the club.
Dembele has hit 17 goals in 29 games so far this season, and his performances already appear to have attracted major interest ahead of the January transfer window.

Glasgow Live recently reported that Liverpool are preparing a £20m January bid for Dembele as Jurgen Klopp looks to boost his attacking options, before they also claimed earlier this week that Arsenal and Tottenham are keen on Dembele too.
Amid speculation over a possible move away from Celtic just months after arriving, Stoke City midfielder and Scottish ace Charlie Adam has discussed the youngster whilst speaking to BBC Radio Five Live.

Adam suggested that selling Dembele for £20m would be a great deal for Celtic as that money could float the club for next season, whilst making a huge profit having signed him for free – not technically the case, given that the Bhoys did end up paying a £500,000 compensation fee (Get West London), though £20m still represents a major profit for Celtic.
“You look at Dembele, he’s the one at the moment that everybody is talking about,” said Adam. “They got him on a free, and they can sell him for £20m in the January window or next summer. That’s a great piece of business, that would float their club for next season,” he added.
