Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers have brought Scott Arfield to Ibrox, and former Gers star Charlie Adam praises him.

Rangers have signed Arfield on a free transfer allowing the departure of Canada international midfielder from Burnley in the Premier League in England at the end of last season.
Stoke midfielder Adam, who started his professional club football career at Rangers, has played against Arfield, and the 32-year-old former Liverpool man seems to rate the new Rangers signing highly.
Adam said about Arfield on BT Sport 1 (07:35pm, Thursday, July 12, 2018): “He is one that can see a pass. He can split defences. I always remember playing against him at Falkirk. He did really well there under John Hughes.”

Good signing for Rangers
Arfield did well for Burnley during his time at Turf Moor, and the Canada international’s experience of playing in the Premier League will come in handy for Rangers next season.
With Rangers aiming to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title next season, they need experienced players who can turn on the style in the big matches.
Arfield is not exactly a ‘great’ midfielder, but the former Falkirk and Huddersfield Town midfielder is a hard-working player who will do the job he is asked
