Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten 1-0 by Celtic at Hampden Park earlier today.

Charlie Adam has praised Glasgow Rangers stopper Matt Gilks, for his performance against Celtic in the Old-Firm derby.
Rangers were beaten 1-0 by Celtic at Hampden Park today, but Gilks’ display was impressive.
The veteran goalkeeper, who played with Adam at Blackpool, made a number of saves to stop Rangers from losing by a heavy margin.
And Adam was particularly impressed when Gilks stopped a shot from Scott Sinclair in the first-half.
Gilks was called into action on regular occasions throughout the League Cup contest, but he was powerless to resist when Moussa Dembele flicked the ball through his legs late on in the tie.

In fairness, Rangers’ defence had look vulnerable for the entirety of the contest and it was hardly a surprise when Brendan Rodgers’ side did grab the winner.
Celtic have now beaten Rangers both times the two sides have met this season.
Rangers are next in action on Wednesday evening, when they take on St. Johnstone in Scottish Premiership action.
