The former Rangers midfielder was speaking to Talksport ahead of the Ibrox side’s trip to Celtic Park on Sunday, with the Bhoys requiring two more wins to clinch a sixth successive Premiership title.

Former Glasgow Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam is fearful for his old side ahead of Sunday’s Old Firm clash with Celtic.
The managerless Gers travel to Celtic Park, the scene of September’s 5-1 mauling against the Bhoys, hoping to delay their rivals’ sixth successive Premiership crown.
Brendan Rodgers’ side, who have won all three encounters with Rangers this season, need two more wins to secure the title, with only a victory for the visitors good enough to keep their own slim hopes alive.
That would be no mean feat given only Inverness Caledonian Thistle have taken points off Celtic in the league this season and Adam, who progressed through the Ibrox side’s academy before forging a successful career in English football, concedes the Bhoys are ‘miles ahead’.
“Do I fear for them? Yes, because of what happened the last time,” the Stoke City man told Talksport on Tuesday morning.
“But it’s the way they are, Celtic – they’re miles ahead.
“That’s the reality at the moment with Rangers, they need to sort what’s going on (their search for a new manager and director of football) out quick, hopefully they do that and then next season will be totally different. Hopefully.”
Rangers parted company with manager Mark Warburton, along with assistant boss David Weir and head of recruitment Frank McParland, a month ago this Friday and are unlikely to have a new man in place in time for Sunday’s Old Firm.

Portuguese coach Pedro Caixinha remains the front-runner, although former Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett has confirmed that talks have taken place with the Gers.
