Rangers returned to winning ways emphatically on Wednesday evening, as Steven Gerrard’s side got the better of Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup fifth-round replay.
Alfredo Morelos was the star of the show for Rangers, as the Colombia international striker scored four of the five goals for the Gers.
A key moment in the match was the controversial dismissal of Kilmarnock goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann in the 25th minute.
The 24-year-old Austrian was sent off when he elbow nudged Glen Kamara’s head.
Rangers took advantage of their numerical superiority thereafter and went on to win the replay.
Kilmarnock, though, have successfully overturned the red card given to Bachmann, as reported on BBC Sport.
Steve Clarke’s side made an appeal to the Scottish FA regarding the dismissal, and they have won it.

Former Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam, though, believes that it was a red card, as he made a post on Twitter.
The 33-year-old Scotland international midfielder, now on the books of Stoke City in the Championship in England, started his professional club football career at Rangers.
