West Brom fans weren’t too impressed with Jose Mourinho’s ‘patronising’ comments after Tottenham’s 1-0 win at The Hawthorns on Sunday.
Mourinho stated after the game that he felt ‘sorry’ for the newly-promoted side and they ‘fought hard’ during the game, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.
But those comments weren’t exactly met with open arms from the West Brom supporters, who feel Mourinho wouldn’t have made such comments if his team didn’t win.
It was a tough three points for the North London side, who left it late to secure all three points when Harry Kane headed home.
The slight anger from Albion supporters can be detected and it’s no surprise given that their team is yet to win a game this season.
From their eight matches, they have drawn three, including letting a 3-0 goal slip at home to Chelsea.

It doesn’t help the mood of the fans when Spurs rock up and score a late goal to win the game and then for the opposition manager to seemingly pat them on the back and suggest at least you tried hard.
Well, that’s the feeling coming from the Albion camp regarding Mourinho’s comments.
Here is a selection of their fans sharing their thoughts on what the Spurs man had to say:
