HITC Sport understands that the Cherries may allow the strike duo to leave on loan when the window opens.

A host of clubs have made contact with Bournemouth about signing Yann Kermorgant and Tokelo Rantie, HITC Sport understands from sources close to a possible deal.

33-year-old Kermorgant played a huge part in the Cherries’ promotion push last season, with 15 goals to his name, but he has featured just once this season.

With Glenn Murray signed on deadline day, his chances of featuring look even more distant, and his situation has not gone unnoticed.

Derby County, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sheffield Wednesday, Cardiff City and Hull City are understood to be among those keen on taking the former Charlton Athletic and Leicester City striker.

And Kermorgant may not be the only forward departing Bournemouth in the coming weeks as South Africa international Rantie is also understood to have been told he can go out on loan.

The 24-year-old signed for Bournemouth in 2013 for a then club record £2.5million, as reported by the Daily Mail, but he has failed to hit the heights expected and is unlikely to see much action in the Premier League.

Fulham are believed to be one of a number of clubs to have expressed an interest in his services.
