HITC Sport understands a number of Championship clubs are tracking the Oldham defender.

A host of Championship clubs are weighing up a move for Oldham Athletic defender Rob Hunt, HITC Sport understands.
Hunt has caught the eye for Oldham since joining the club in the summer from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The left-back joined Oldham on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell at Boundary Park last season, where he helped them secure survival in League One.

Hunt came through the ranks at Brighton and made eight first-team appearances for the Seagulls before opting to leave in the summer in search of regular first-team football.
Hunt’s performances for Oldham so far this season have not gone unnoticed and scouts from clubs higher up the football pyramid have been keeping a regular check on his progress.
The 22-year-old is understood to have a £300,000 release clause in his contract at Boundary Park and the news is sure to alert his list of admirers.
The defender’s versatility in that he can play right-back or left-back has made him an attractive proposition to his suitors and Oldham could face a fight to keep hold of the defender when the transfer window reopens in January.
